With the deck comes rekordbox™, our own music management software that analyses the BPM and beat position of songs in your library. When you have finished preparing, you cantransfer your songs and playlists to a USB device so you can select them by album, artist or genre on your CDJ-350. An industry first feature, DJs can create and edit playlists right on the player.

Set the beat

BPM Lock lets you match tempos of songs with just one button for smooth transitions. Set a master BPM for each deck and all music will be played at that speed. 

Check the beat both by sound and vision with the BEAT Display Function, which facilitates scratching and looping. With the Auto Beat Loop function, you can develop loop performances with Beat Loop, Loop Divide and Hot Loop functionality.

Other features include:

  • Transfer songs to a playlist with just one button
  • Excellent vibration-resistance thanks to its Shock-Proof Memory and Floating Architecture
  • Resume function for discs that are removed and later reloaded.

Smooth support for your DJ Life with the included music management software rekordboxTM
The music management software rekordbox that comes with the CDJ-350 analyzes the BPM*1 and beat position of songs from your computer, allowing music to be categorized by genre and facilitates the creation of playlists. When the music analyzed by rekordbox is transferred to a USB device and then connected to the CDJ-350, it enables songs to be selected by genre, album or artist and making DJ-ing fun and easy. Furthermore, the music played can be saved as a history on a USB device and saved as an original playlist in rekordbox.

 


BEAT Display function allows the DJ to view the beat while performing Scratches*2 and Loops
The CDJ-350 comes equipped with our BEAT Display function, which shows the beat position of a song and the playback point. As this allows the user to check the beat both by sound and visually, it gives a feel of "hand, eye and ear coordination" and makes performing scratches and loops a lot more fun.

Auto Beat Loop function enables all kinds of loop performances
With one press of the button, the DJ can enjoy all kinds of loop performances.
- Beat Loop: Matches the beat and repeats a 4-beat loop.
- Loop Divide: Plays the loop at a different rhythm, while a loop is being played
- Hot Loop: Repeats the loop

 


Auto BPM Lock matches the tempo with just one push of a button
With just a push of the button, it matches the song that is playing to the preset master BPM.  In this way, a beginner can easily match the tempo of two songs and enjoy real BPM mixing.

 


Create playlist function allows the immediate registering of a desired song
While playing music of selected songs, all it takes is a press of a button to register a desired song to a playlist. If frequently used songs are registered, it is extremely easy to call out a favorite song from among many others.

 


Capable of connecting to a computer and using a DJ software controller or utilizing it as an audio interface
Connecting the CDJ-350 via USB to a computer allows it to be controlled by MIDI-compatible DJ software as well as using the music files on the computer to enjoy DJ-ing. It can also be used as an audio interface.

Other features:
 - Excellent vibration-resistance thanks to its Shock-Proof Memory*3 and Floating Architecture.
 - Four levels of settings*4 can be made for the maximum variation range of a song's tempo 6%, 10%, 16% and WIDE.
 - Equipped with our Resume function, so that when a disc is removed and later reloaded, it returns to the previous state.
 
*1 Beats Per Minute: Indicates the tempo of a song numerically, so the beats per minutes is its BPM.
*2 A remixing/DJ technique that produces a scratching sound when the DJ moves the record backward and forward. The Pioneer CDJ series allows scratching of CDs.
*3 A technology that prevents skipping by storing the audio in memory just ahead of the music playing.
*4 WIDE only works with music CDs. Music files such as MP3, AAC, WAV & AIFF can be set in 3 levels, 6%, 10%, 16%.
